Events of Steel- City Quest -Terms and Conditions of Business (from 7th February 2019)

1.0 Definitions

1:1 “City Quest” means Events of Steel, Sheffield Hallam University;

1:2 “the Client” means the person, firm or company purchasing the Services from Events of Steel;

1:3 “the Services” means the Services supplied to the Client and/or Guests under these conditions;

2:0 Basis of the Contract

2:1 A binding contract between Events of Steel and the Client comes into existence as soon as both parties have completed the Booking Confirmation form

3:0 Price 

3:1 The price charged by Events of Steel for the provision of Services (City Quest) shall be stated in the Booking Confirmation Form of any booking made by the Client.

3:2 A booking deposit payable by the client of 0% of the price (including any VAT thereon) shall become due at the time of booking.

3:3 The client shall pay the balance of the price prior to the date upon which the services are to be provided.

3:4 If for any reason the client cancels the booking, the booking will be non-refundable.

4:0 Liability

4:1 By participating in City Quest Sheffield, you agree that neither Events of Steel nor any person associated with us or the event will be liable to you or any other participant for any loss, injury, direct or indirect damages that arise in any way. You agree to communicate this liability to any person that are participating with you or in your team on the City Quest.

4:2 Events of Steel accept no responsibility in respect of any loss or damage to any property of the Client.

4:3 Events of Steel accept no responsibility in respect to the loss and injury of any children.

4:4 Prior to the commencement of the services, the client will, if so, requested by Events of Steel, sign a disclaimer of liability, or safety form, the terms of which are available to the client on request.

5:1 All content included on this site and app and all information sent to you via email, text messages is copyright of Events of Steel.

6:0 Use of Images

6:1 We may use images shared by us on website or included in the City Quest app, online marketing and all promotional material printed or accessed via web

7:0 Law of Contract

7:1 The construction, validity and performance of any contract shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the UK.

3. While taking part in City Quest, we collect the answers you submit as well as your score in order to evaluate your ranking in the event.
